We have been engaged to assist our client, Shire Pharmaceuticals, in their search for a Manager of Internal Audit. Shire is a multi-billion dollar, publicly-traded specialty pharmaceutical company with operations on five continents. The company has a large and diversified product portfolio, and has been growing rapidly in recent years due to a number of strategic partnerships and acquisitions. US headquarters are located in Wayne, PA with significant operations in Lexington, MA.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6-10 years of progressive internal audit experience, with a background in Big 4 public accounting preferred. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of business systems and processes, along with significant experience in developing, testing and assessing both operational and IT controls. Bachelor’s degree required. CPA, CIA and/or CISA certification preferred. MBA a plus.
Compensation for the position consists of a base salary in the $100K to $115K range, along with a 15% bonus and equity.
