Postmarked by March 18, 2011
The HBCU STEM Fellowship Program provides fellowships and stipends to graduates of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU), as determined by the White House Initiative on HBCUs, to pursue Master’s level programs in STEM areas of study at colleges and universities in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware or Washington, DC. STEM refers to the areas of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, but does not include majors linked to medical fields. In addition to financial support we monitor your progress through the completion of the program. The fellowship program is administered by the Educational Advancement Alliance (EAA) and sponsored by the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), a U.S. Department of Energy agency. EAA also has a National Minority STEM Fellowship Program which provides funding up to $77,000.00 for a two-year program as well. It does, however, have a residency requirement. You can find information on it at www.NMSFP.org.
