Douglas fir trees from St. Judes Tree Farm in Juniata County will be arriving at Joshua Farm on Saturdays, December 4th, 11th, and 18th between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Fresh cut, 5-7 trees are $25 each, with proceeds benefitting our youth employment program. Walk up sales are welcome, but pre-ordering is recommended to ensure supply. The final date to order is December 15. You can find an order form on our website.
One of my favorite childhood memories is of decorating our Christmas tree. My family wasnt big into entertaining, but every year we would invite friends over to help put up our decorations. Stringing popcorn and cranberries, drinking eggnog, and making gingerbread houses were also part of the fun. If a Christmas tree hasnt been part of your familys history, this is a great year to start a new tradition.
