Resident Evil: Afterlife se basa nuevamente en la popular serie de videojuegos y esta vez se presenta en 3-D.

En un mundo devastado por la infección de un virus que ha convertido a sus víctimas en muertos vivientes, ALICE (Milla Jovovich), continúa en su viaje para encontrar a los sobrevivientes y guiarlos a un lugar seguro. La batalla mortal contra la Umbrella Corporation alcanza nuevas alturas mientras que Alice recibe la ayuda inesperada de una vieja amistad. Una nueva pista promete un refugio seguro lejos del peligro en Los Ángeles, pero se encuentran con que la ciudad ha sido invadida por miles de los infectados- y Alice y sus compañeros están a punto de entrar en una trampa mortal.
